When you make a purchase
When you place or attempt to place an order, we collect your name, billing and shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number. We refer to this as Order Information. Together, Device Information and Order Information make up your Personal Information under this policy.
We use Order Information to fulfil purchases made through our site - processing payments, arranging delivery, and sending order confirmations and invoices. We also use it to communicate with you, screen for potential fraud, and where relevant, share information about our products and services in line with your preferences.
We use Device Information to identify and manage potential risk, and to improve and optimise our website - including understanding how customers browse and interact with our site, and assessing the performance of our marketing.
From time to time, Common Thread uses AI-assisted tools to support note-taking during in-studio consultations and to help manage client communications. This may include summarising consultation notes for training purposes or assisting in drafting responses to client enquiries.
Any information processed through these tools is handled with the same care and discretion as all other personal information we collect. We do not use AI tools that store, sell, or share your information with third parties beyond what is outlined in this policy.

We share your Personal Information with third parties only where necessary to operate our business. Our online store is powered by Shopify - you can read about how Shopify handles your data at shopify.com/legal/privacy. We use Google Analytics to understand how customers use our site - Google's privacy policy is available at google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We may also share your Personal Information where required by law - for example, in response to a legal request or to protect our rights.
