It's all good; we've got you. Chances are you know what you don't want, and that's a good start. Our supergroup of hair artists will consider your personality, skin and eye colour, face shape, lifestyle, and your time and moola budget and create an epic hair plan. We suggest booking a 'Spill the Tea' consult or diving straight into 'Help Me, Rhonda' for guidance and transformation.

If you would like a haircut and it's been a hot minute since you last had it cut we advise a 2 hour session for your first visit to Common Thread.

For colour appointments we suggest you book in a Spill the Tea so we can come up with a plan to suit you.

No problem, you can cancel your appointment anytime up to 24hrs beforehand. You can cancel by logging into your account or in the app. Or by phoning or emailing us.

If you need to cancel within the 24hr period before your appointment we charge a 50% cancellation fee.

If you're not satisfied with our service, please let us know within 7 days. We will do everything in our power to make it right and ensure you are delighted with the result. If you have any questions about our work, please call us right away. We're driven to help you express the real you and want you to look and feel badass; we will make the necessary adjustments. So that you'll always love your hair, we offer revisit's rework, no monetary refunds.

Membership

Sharing is very honourable, but your membership is unique to your hair and needs, so sessions aren't transferable. It's not called Members Only for nothing, babes.

Are scissors sharp? Abso-freaking-lutely you can come in as much as your hair desires. And you'll get a 10% discount off additional sessions outside your membership for being part of the club.

If your hair artist is sick, on leave, or closes their chapter at Common Thread, we'll let you know and appoint another member of our supergroup to champion your membership.

We get it, shit happens. If you need to hit pause, you can freeze your membership once from billing date to billing date for up to three months a year. The months will be tapped on to the end of your membership term, extending the period by the number of months frozen.

If your membership is no longer your jam, you can cancel it after six months of the start date. Cancelling your membership will require one full month's notice in advance by email to your Membership Support.

Evo products are made in Australia, and pair well with Florence and The Margarita.

We only work with manufacturers and products that are tested by humans in lab coats, not bunnies in fur coats.

Shipping & Returns

Yes. Free delivery within 5kms of the studio.

If you're further away we use NZ Post to courier your goodies.

The delivery time for all New Zealand orders is approximately 1 to 4 working days. This does not include any time for processing your order.

Haircare products can be returned up to 2 weeks after the purchase date for an exchange as long as they are unused.
