With a background in makeup and a teenage obsession with vintage eras, Morgan’s journey into hair wasn’t exactly linear, and that’s what makes her so interesting.
Initially, she chased dreams of storytelling through film and TV but found herself captivated by how hair could tell a story all on its own. “While studying makeup, there was a hair portion,” she explains, “and I realised how much I enjoyed being able to manipulate and emanate the styles I was drawn to.”
Fast-forward to now, and Morgan has carved out a reputation for creating effortlessly cool bobs and low-maintenance blondes that look just as good four weeks in as they did on day one.
But what sets Morgan apart isn’t just her technique; it’s the way she sees you. “I’m always looking for how I can enhance someone’s confidence,” she says. “But if a style just doesn’t suit their lifestyle, I’ll talk them through it honestly. And if they’re open to a tweak or compromise, that’s when the magic happens.”
Her approach is thoughtful, grounded, and fully customised; no copy-paste cuts here. And once the trust is built? That’s when Morgan thrives. “It’s like building a cult following… kidding,” she laughs. “But I love it when clients give me that creative freedom. It makes every day different.”
Outside the salon, Morgan’s creativity doesn’t stop. Sewing, painting, gardening, cross stitching, crocheting, even building intricate miniature rooms - yes, really. She’s got more side projects than most people have houseplants. “I think sewing has a lot in common with hair,” she says. “You follow a pattern, but you’re free to shift and shape it. You consider texture, structure, flow; it’s all the same language.”
